People's Imperial Confederation of Club Penguin

Welcome to the first installment of the People’s Posts column series! In this post, I interview Komisarz Greg8972 to gain insight into her experience and time with our army! Read on to learn more about her!

Greg, formally known as Greg8972, joined the People’s Imperial Confederation of Club Penguin on May 31, 2023, as Admiral, the army’s fifth-in-command position. Although she is still relatively new to the army, her history within the Club Penguin army community extends back to 2020 when she was recruited by the Ice Warriors from Club Penguin Online. Since her time in the Ice Warriors, she has served in armies such as the Templars, Mercenaries, and the Dark Vikings. When she joined the People’s Imperial Confederation, the army was at war with the Dark Vikings in a conflict known as the Bloodbath Barrage. Soon enough, the feud concluded in favor of the People’s Imperial Confederation and the Sapphire Concordat alliance. Peace did not last long, however, as World War IX began shortly after. Regardless, Greg continued to be an active face within the PIC staff team. At one point during the conflict, she helped lead against the opposing alliance in absence of Sapphire Concordat leadership. Due to her immense loyalty and service, Greg currently serves as Komisarz, third-in-command, of the People’s Imperial Confederation.

To learn more about her PIC experience, I reached out to her for an interview in the first edition of People’s Posts: Comrade Conference!

Firstly, tell the People a little about yourself, including your current rank in PIC!

Greg: Hi! I’m greg, a 3rd in Command. Honestly really don’t know what I’d want to note about myself.

If you can recall: How, when, and why did you join the People’s Imperial Confederation?

Greg: It was sometime in May, I left the Dark Vikings over a feud I had with some leaders at the time just a month ago. In my month of being unenlisted, I had attended events for every army that seemed interesting to me, SWAT, TCP, HF, POM, and even PIC. What finally got me to join was seeing a friend of mine who also used to be in DV join PIC where I just kinda thought to myself “eh, why not” and formerly joined on May 31st under the rank of Admiral.

What would you consider to be your favorite memory from the army thus far?

Greg: Honestly it probably would have to be the events of World War IX or Beach Brawl III.

If you could add anything to the army, what would it be?

Greg: Me to leadership :trollos:

Where do you see yourself in the People’s Imperial Confederation in the next few months?

Greg: Smoking dipsh*ts (I won’t provide examples here but know there are previous examples), being the worst child soldier PIC could ask for, and ideally a rank higher than 3iC

Do you have any advice for Confederates below you who are looking to rank up?

Greg: Honestly? Just recruit, register, and attend events when you can and forfeit all dental care products to Alucard. Not much to it.
