Weeping Weapons War Recap: 28/04/2024- 04/05/2024

This week the People’s Imperial Confederation was at war once again. Facing off against our enemies, the Special Weapons and Tactics, our Confederation defeated them in three battles, before they announced their surrender.

I know many of us are disappointed and wish the war lasted longer. PIC had every intention of keeping this war going for several weeks, eventually moving onto the CPA map. We entered this war with one purpose, defeating SWAT. Since July of 2023, we have faced insults, trash talk, and disrespect at the hands of SWAT. Despite beating them in two tournaments, and performing significantly better than them in the Top Ten and community conflicts, they were truly convinced they could beat us. It took only one battle for SWAT to realize that they had overestimated their strength. Their advisors were forced to step in. Despite Ganger and others claiming he isn’t too involved in SWAT, he was present at every battle, helping SWAT leadership lead and hype. This leaves me wondering why Ganger can be present for war, but not present for predatory behaviour happening within the SWAT server. Other advisors emerged from the shadows, hovering over and deleting each war statement sent by FWAPO and Krill in SWAT’s announcement channel. Despite all of this, to no surprise, PIC came out on top.

Up until the very end, Ganger and SWAT’s advisory tried to convince SWAT to not sign a treaty. PIC has never been the type of army to kick someone while they’re down. Although we wanted this war to last much longer, we reached out to SWAT leadership immediately after their surrender. The now-deleted surrender message sent by Fwapo made it clear they wanted to recuperate their forces, and that they were not in a position for more war. We offered a treaty out of good faith, giving SWAT a guaranteed month (at the very least) to pull themselves together, train, and recover. However, this wasn’t good enough for Ganger90, who despite not being involved in SWAT, insisted on being in our treaty group chat, where he was later removed for nonstop arguing. It is clear that despite the enemy status between PIC and SWAT, we were looking out for their wellbeing more than their advisory, who were more concerned about saving face. Eventually, a peace treaty was signed between our armies.

While SWAT are still classified as Confederation enemies, FWAPO and Krill deserve our respect for the way they navigated and led SWAT through this war. While both made mistakes and did things that brought our armies to the point of war, they clearly lack consistent advisory, which is something all army leaders need. Only time will tell where our armies end up. SWAT as an army is doomed under the advisory of Ganger90, however, for the sake of Krill and FWAPO’s SWAT, PIC is open to establishing neutrality if leaders and advisory on both sides remain respectful.

Until then, PIC, you’ve achieved yet another victory. This is our third war win of the year and the second conflict in which we haven’t lost a single battle. Our opponents have been tough and close in size, however, your performance on the battlefield has been stronger in every capacity. Though we have defeated every single S/M army in the community (besides Dark Pirates, our allies), there will be more wars and victories in our future.
