Getting Started
Before beginning your stamp hunt, make sure the purchase the Flashing Lure Fishing Rod, found in the same area containing the game. This rod is required for multiple stamps, so purchase it beforehand and make sure to have it equipped on your penguin before starting the game!
With that out of the way, let’s dive into the main portion of the guide!
Easy Stamps
Snack Attack
This stamp requires the player to feed a fish to a shark.
To do this, get a fish onto your fishing rod, and wait for a shark to come by. The shark should eat the fish, losing you a worm but earning you a stamp!
Medium Stamps
Shock King
This stamp requires the player to get shocked three times by jellyfish and still finish a game.
Simply let a jellyfish touch your line three times, but make sure not to run out of lives! Finishing the game means getting to the end without losing, so make sure to pick up all extra lives that spawn!
Fishtastic
This stamp requires the player to catch 15 fish without making a mistake.
Mistakes are considered as anything that would lose you a life, as well as hitting any object that knocks a fish off of your line. This includes clicking to let a fish go while your line is still under the water.
Hard Stamps
Worm Win
This stamp requires the player to finish a game without losing a worm.
Self-explanatory, just play it safe and don’t rush!
Crab Cuts
This stamp requires the player to have three crabs cut the line and still finish a game.
Similar strategy to the Shock King stamp, however do note that crabs spawn later in the game than jellyfish do, so make sure to save your lives until they start spawning!
Afishionado
This stamp requires the player to catch 45 fish without making a mistake.
Same idea as the Fishtastic stamp, play safe and slow and this stamp will be yours!
Gray Goodies
This stamp requires the player to catch 15 gray fish in a game.
Gray fish are a special type of fish that are only able to be caught if you have the Flashing Lure Fishing Rod equipped. Instead of swimming in a straight line, they charge up before speedily swimming in either an upward or downward arc, making them harder to catch.
If you’re having trouble with this stamp, try avoiding catching yellow fish until you’ve caught enough gray fish. Gray fish will stop spawning after the player has caught 56-58 total fish.
Prize Mullet
This stamp requires the player to catch the mullet.
The mullet is a special fish that spawns at the end of every game. Usually, this fish appears and floats pass the screen, ignoring your fishing line completely. However, if you get to the end of the game with a fish still on your line, the mullet will try to eat the fish and you will have successfully caught it!
63 fish are available to catch in one game of Ice Fishing, not counting the mullet. So, once you’ve reached 62 fish, hold onto the last fish and simply wait until the mullet appears!
Fly Fisher
This stamp requires the player to catch 63 fish in under five minutes.
Try your best to catch all fish that you can, as missing any could be the difference between completing this stamp and not. Note that for this stamp, you must not catch the mullet, as this would not count as catching 63 fish, even if it is in the time requirement.
Extreme Stamps
Ace Angler
This stamp requires the player to catch 15 gray fish and the mullet in one game without losing a single worm.
While this stamp is quite difficult, playing at an extremely comfortable pace rather than rushing through will go a long way. For this stamp, keep in mind two things as you play:
- 15 gray fish need to be caught before you have a total of 56-58 fish caught
- After 62 total fish have been caught, hold onto the last fish in order to catch the mullet
Prioritize lives over catching fish, as this stamp is not timed and losing a life will instantly make this stamp inaccessible for that session.
